Its EA Digital Platform (EADP) team drives the technology decisions and investments behind cross-platform services for all EA games. EA is hiring a Data Science Intern in Hyderabad, Telangana on a hybrid work model. The role ID is 215937, and the team is CT – Infrastructure & Platform.
What you will do
- Build custom machine learning models for real-world problems, working with product managers and senior engineers
- Understand requirements, prototype and build large-scale distributed applications
- Clean, prepare and analyse large datasets and keep data quality high
- Handle imbalanced datasets to improve model performance
- Deploy and host models so they are scalable and reliable in production
- Monitor models in production and add feedback loops
Who can apply
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer or software engineering, computer science or a related field
- Solid computer science basics: algorithms, design patterns, CI/CD and data structures
- Python or R, with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn
- Understanding of data preprocessing and imbalanced datasets
- Familiarity with deploying models on AWS, GCP or Azure
- Knowledge of model evaluation metrics and how to reduce bias
- A good understanding of LLM architecture, fine-tuning and training
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
