About the role
Cisco is hiring a Software Engineer in Bengaluru who will work as a Full Stack AI Developer in the Sales Planning domain. What you will do
- Build AI-driven applications using modern Generative AI and Agentic AI frameworks
- Design intelligent assistants, chatbots, AI agents and workflow automation using large language models
- Connect AI services and APIs, including Claude, OpenAI, MCP servers, LangChain and the Vercel AI SDK
- Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems with vector databases, embeddings and semantic search
- Create proofs of concept to test new AI technologies and their business impact
- Develop scalable full-stack applications on modern frontend and backend technologies
- Work with product managers, architects and business teams, and write design documents and user documentation
- Debug problems across development, testing and production, and improve engineering practices
Who can apply
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field with up to 3 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 2+ years
- Hands-on full-stack development experience
- Strong Python and AI / generative AI experience
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Proven ability to design, build, test and deploy scalable software
Preferred: UX design, Snowflake, Angular or React, and good presentation skills.
