Stripe Software Engineer, New Grad – Bengaluru (Degree by Summer 2027)

About the role

Stripe builds programmable financial infrastructure that more than 10 million businesses use. It is hiring a Software Engineer, New Grad in Bengaluru on a full-time basis. Stripe listed the job on 28 October 2026. This is a different job from the Software Engineer Intern role already on our site.

Stripe says small teams there can affect how millions of businesses grow, and that the company is building around AI. It looks for people who move with urgency, like hard problems and want their work to matter.

Who can apply

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a directly related field, obtained by summer 2027, or equivalent work experience
• New grad candidates should have no more than 18 months of professional experience. Internships do not count towards that limit
• Experience and familiarity with programming through side projects or classwork. Stripe works mostly in Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala and Go, and says new languages can be learned if the fundamentals are strong
• Experience from internships or team coding projects at university or work
• The ability to learn unfamiliar systems through your own research and by working with a mentor or experts
• Clear written communication
• The ability to use AI tools to speed up development while checking, improving and validating everything they produce

Preferred: depth in one area (frontend, backend, infrastructure or other), experience with code review and safely changing production systems, working in large codebases, leading small projects on your own, and knowing when to unblock yourself and when to ask for help.
